Function & Application
- The ORTCZJ-4X hydraulic bucking unit is primarily used for efficient make-up, break-out, and rotor pulling of screw motors (PDM), drill pipes, jars, and other downhole tools.
- A six-jaw clamping mechanism combined with dual-arm impact provides high-torque operations, while the quick-spin tong accelerates thread spinning, significantly boosting efficiency.
- An optional data-recording module logs pressure and torque during assembly/disassembly for quality traceability and job reporting.
Key Features
-
High Torque Capability: Rated up to 115 kN·m for robust make-up and break-out;
Quick-Spin Tong: Friction wheels driven by a hydraulic motor speed up thread spinning;
Data Logging (Upgraded Model): Records torque and pressure during operation for export, without real-time display;
Secure Self-Lock: Six-jaw clamping cylinders with self-locking to prevent accidental loosening;
Wide Application: Designed for pipe diameters from φ60 to φ250 mm, customizable as needed.
Welding & Surface Treatment: All welded components undergo stress-relief treatment (aging) before assembly, ensuring structural stability. Surfaces are polished, then coated with an epoxy zinc-rich primer, and finally finished with an acrylic polyurethane topcoat, offering excellent corrosion protection and weather resistance.
Hydraulic Cylinders & Key Components: Cylinder tubes feature a boring and roller burnishing process for enhanced surface finish and strength; piston rods use 40Cr material, heat-treated and chrome-plated for improved toughness and wear resistance.
High-quality seals from Japan's NOK or the UK's Hallite are used to ensure reliable sealing and long service life. Synchronization components (e.g., hydraulic control valves or motors) are imported from Italy, ensuring precise coordination and optimal machine performance.
Typical Applications
- Oilfield Well Sites: On-site assembly and disassembly of PDMs and downhole tools;
- Workover Shops / Factories: Batch maintenance for PDMs, jars, and other tools;
- Other industrial settings requiring high-torque disassembly/assembly.
After-Sales Service & Warranty
- A 1-year warranty is provided, covering main components (hydraulic cylinders, motor, pump, etc.) with free repairs or replacements for quality issues;
- Free remote technical support is available; on-site commissioning and training can be offered upon separate agreement;
- Comprehensive documentation is available in both Chinese and English;
- After the warranty, original spare parts and technical advice remain available to ensure ongoing efficiency.
Packaging & Delivery
- Packing: Wooden case packaging with moisture and shock protection;
- Shipping Method: Sea freight only, departing from Tianjin Port. Air or express shipping is not offered due to the equipment's size and weight;
- Lead Time: Typically 30-60 days from order confirmation. Customization or expedited delivery may be negotiated.
FAQ
Q: Do you provide real-time torque display?
A: The upgraded model records and exports pressure/torque data but does not offer real-time display.
Q: Can the unit be customized for higher torque or wider clamping range?
A: Yes. We can modify the hydraulic system or structural design to accommodate higher torque and larger diameters.
Q: What are the payment terms?
A: We typically accept T/T or L/C. Other methods can be discussed according to the order size and customer preference.
Q: How to maintain the unit after the warranty expires?
A: After the warranty, you can still purchase original spare parts from us or request remote technical support. On-site service may also be provided as needed.
Q: Are shipping and insurance included in the price? What if I need an FOB quotation?
A: Our current prices are based on EXW (Ex-Works) terms and do not include shipping or insurance. If you require an FOB (Free on Board) quotation, please contact us. We will recalculate and provide an accurate quote according to your preferred port, shipping method, and insurance requirements.
Q: Can we pay in installments? How much must be paid before the Bill of Lading (B/L) is released?
A: If you require installment payments, we are open to discussing specific terms. Generally, at least 60% of the total payment must be settled before the Bill of Lading (B/L) is released. The timing and method for the remaining payments will be clearly stated in the contract.
Q: Is there an additional fee for deferred or extended payment schedules?
A: Yes. If the customer opts for an extended payment schedule, an additional fee will be charged based on the length of the extension and the associated financing costs. The exact fee rate and payment timing will be negotiated and specified in the contract.
Q: After I provide a Purchase Order (PO), what documentation and certificates will I receive for customs clearance and project verification?
A: After receiving your official Purchase Order (PO), we will provide the following documents and certificates in accordance with the contract requirements and international standards:
-
- User Manual / Product Catalog
- Chemical Test Report
- NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Report (e.g., ultrasonic)
- Mechanical & Composition Reports for Key Components
